- What is a SEG?
  
  SEG stands for Silicone Edged Graphic. This refers to the method of manufacture for a graphic, where the manufacturer attaches a small continuous extrusion of silicone to the edge of a graphic. The graphic is typically printed on a polyester fabric, via dye-sublimation, but can also be UV or latex printed, depending on the manufacturer’s capabilities. The silicone edge is then inserted by the user into a Tension Frame System (TFS), which is normally an aluminium extrusion that has a groove that accepts the silicone bead and stretches the graphic into the frame, giving a smooth, elegant appearance to the graphic.
- What is the difference between a SEG and TFS graphic?
  
  Silicone Edged Graphic (SEG) and Tension Fabric System (TFS) are often used interchangeably when referring to graphics. However, it would be more accurate to describe the graphic as SEG, and the frame into which it is inserted as the TFS.
- Why would I want to use a lightbox?
  
  Lightboxes offer a fantastic way to draw attention to your brand or message. Illuminated displays draw the attention of the consumer to your message and are particularly useful in retail environments, such as window or product displays instore. Portable lightboxes are often used in events and exhibitions to attract attention.
- Can you customise the size of a lightbox?
  
  Yes, most sizes are possible, although there are some practical limits for larger lightboxes. The bigger the lightbox, the more supporting struts are required, and if it is free standing, it will require a sturdy base to ensure it can be used safely.
- How do I install a SEG graphic?
  
  The easiest way to install a SEG graphic is to locate a top corner of the graphic and gently push the silicone edges into the 90- degree corner. Repeat this process on the opposite top corner, to hold the graphic in place. Then insert the middle of the top of the graphic into the channel and ease the silicone edge beading into the channel in either direction. Repeat this on the sides and bottom. To straighten or move the graphic (where you have excess fabric, or it is too short), simply pull that part of the graphic out, and stretch or compress the fabric as needed, and re-install the beading. The fabric is normally quite stretchy, so you can manipulate it to fit the frame.
- How do I clean fabric graphics if they get dirty?
  
  That’s no problem at all – just pop your graphic (without the hardware) into a standard washing machine with normal detergent and wash on at a gentle 30 degrees. Do not tumble dry it, just lay it out flat to dry, and it will look as good as new.
- Can I change my SEG Graphic?
  
  Simply pull the tab (or, if there is no tab, carefully remove one corner of the graphic from the channel). Once you have removed part of the graphic, slowly and evenly pull it out of the aluminium channel and fold it carefully after removal.
